Motorcycle fairings being prepared for repair and paint at Redline

Fairing &
Plastic Repair

Cracked, tabbed or road-rashed bodywork repaired properly — so you’re not paying to paint over damage.

Dropped bikes break plastics, and replacement panels are brutally expensive — often more than the bike is worth on an older machine. Most of the time the original can be repaired for a fraction of that.

What we repair

  • Cracks and splits in fairings, fenders and side panels.
  • Broken mounting tabs — the most common failure, and the one that makes everything else rattle.
  • Road rash filled and reprofiled.
  • Stress fractures around fastener points.
  • Missing sections rebuilt where there’s enough to work from.

Repaired, not filled over

A crack packed with filler and sprayed will come back — the panel still flexes and the filler doesn’t. A proper repair rejoins the plastic so the panel is structurally whole again, then gets prepped and refinished.

Then paint

Once the panel is sound it goes through the same process as any tank and fairing job — prep, colour, clear. Blend it into the existing paint, or take the opportunity to change the whole scheme while the panels are already off.
