Scooter
Repair
Scoots get treated like real machines here — not squeezed in between the jobs that pay better.
A scooter is somebody’s commute. When it stops, their week stops with it — and plenty of shops treat scooter work as an afterthought, which is why they sit for three weeks waiting on a part nobody ordered.
What we handle
- Servicing, oil, plugs and filters.
- Carburetor cleaning — the single most common scooter fault after a winter parked outside.
- Drive belts, rollers, variators and clutches.
- Brakes, tyres and cables.
- Electrical: starting faults, charging, lighting.
- Bodywork and paint if you want it looking like new rather than merely running.
50cc to maxi-scooters
Little commuter scoots through to the big touring machines. If it has a twist-and-go transmission, we work on it.
No way to get it here
Dead scooters are awkward to move and too many end up abandoned in a garage for that reason. We do pickup, free within five miles of the shop.
Back to repair for everything else we handle in this part of the shop.
